Hi, I’m Robin, the face, heart, and hands behind By Robin Creations!
My journey to becoming a maker took a scenic route. Raised in the California Bay Area alongside my older brother, Gary, I spent years searching for a career that truly fulfilled me. I eventually found my stride in real estate, working alongside my mom to help families buy and sell homes in Los Gatos and the Santa Cruz Mountains. I absolutely loved the deep connections I built with my clients, but deep down, a lifelong creative urge was calling. I ultimately chose to step away from real estate to pour my heart into a new passion: crafting clean, high-quality, handmade skincare.
Not long after launching the business, my mom and I made the leap to beautiful Santa Fe, New Mexico, to be closer to my brother and his family. It has been the perfect place for both my business and my family to bloom.
When I’m not in the studio formulation-testing or pouring new batches, you can usually find me out exploring the stunning Santa Fe landscape with my two dogs, Payton and Tucker, or relaxing with my cat, Aspen. Family means everything to me, so a huge part of my week is spent with my mom—whether I’m helping her around the house, catching up on the latest news, or strolling through local farmers' markets and community events together.
I am also the proud mom of two wonderful grown sons, Jackson and Mitchell. Every product I make is infused with the same care, dedication, and love I have for my family, and I’m so incredibly grateful to share a piece of that with you.
Production Assistant & Future Lawyer
We are thrilled to introduce Anna, a proud Santa Fe native and integral part of the team here at By Robin Creations. Currently pursuing her degree in Liberal Arts at St. John's College, Anna balances her academic journey toward law school with a passion for intentional, handmade skincare.
Anna loves the hands-on nature of our studio, particularly the satisfaction of seeing a full day's work come to life in products that will truly enhance our customers' daily routines. While she loves crafting our entire line, her absolute favorite to make (and use!) is our signature toothpaste.
When she isn't in the studio or the classroom, you'll likely find her enjoying her favorite snack—pickles—or brightening the room with her love for all things pink!
Production Assistant & Culinary Magician
Bringing a blend of culinary expertise and artistic passion to By Robin Creations, Le is a vital member of our production team. Originally from Milwaukie, Le’s journey has taken her all over the country, and she brings that rich, worldly perspective to the care she puts into our handmade products.
Le views the art of formulating skincare much like fine cooking—a seamless transition where precision meets soul. She takes great pride in knowing that the items she helps create bring real benefit to those who use them. Our studio is always filled with music thanks to Le; whether she is singing, playing guitar, or passionately performing The Phantom of the Opera, her energy is contagious. Her top pick from our line is the Scar Lifting Balm, a formula she truly loves to prepare.
Chief Napping Officer & Reluctant Supporter
Meet Payton, the grounded anchor of our shop’s fur-baby team. While some pets are full of dramatic quirks and high-maintenance demands, Payton prides herself on being beautifully low-key. In fact, her mom affectionately calls her the most delightfully uncomplicated dog on the planet. She doesn't need the spotlight; she just needs a good couch.
When she isn't executing her rigorous duties as our Professional Napper, she saves her energy for her absolute favorite things:
1 out of 5 Stars. "To be completely honest, I think the skincare business is highly overrated. I am not a fan of herbal smells, and I strongly disapprove of Mom packing up the truck to sell things at markets and festivals. If it were up to me, the lavender oils would stay capped, Mom would stay home, and the couch would be the designated staff meeting area all day long."
Meet Tucker, the youngest human resource challenge at By Robin Creations. If Payton represents peace and tranquility, Tucker is the self-appointed storm of pure joy. At just six months old, he has completely embraced his official title as the Head of Chaos, bringing an undeniable spark (and a lot of moving furniture) to the team.
Tucker has some very specific, highly exhausting hobbies that keep him busy all day:
Tucker is completely oblivious to the fact that we actually make and sell skincare products. However, he is convinced the entire venture exists solely to bring people to the house. He greets every single studio visitor with pure, unadulterated glee. If you come by, prepare for an enthusiastic welcome from our favorite 48-pound puppy!
Quality Assurance & Studio Supervisor
While Payton naps and Tucker creates chaos, Aspen ensures that operations in the main office run smoothly. As the sole feline on the payroll, he takes his supervisory duties very seriously.
Core Responsibilities:
A Cat for All Seasons: Aspen doesn't let the Santa Fe weather get in the way of a good shift. He happily ventures out into the winter snow, provided Mom dresses him in one of his signature sweaters. He strictly prefers the cozy office vibes to the scary things outdoors, making him the ultimate, sweet-natured studio companion.
