Vegan Eczema Relief Stick

I recently developed Eczema, it's this light red bumpy rash on my arm but the itching can be so extreme! Tried a lot of other products however THIS ONE relieved the itching immediately. I left it on overnight and the redness and puffiness of the rash are gone. Just slight bumps remain. Love this product! Highly recommend!!

Over two different week-long periods of exceptionally bad eczema (open wounds) on the back of my young son's legs, we experimented with BRC's Eczema Relief stick against the two prescription-strength steroid creams he has. We aim to reduce the use of steroid creams as much as we can, but sometimes it's just necessary.

First test: Eczema Relief against Triamcinolone (the big guns). Triamcinolone was a clear winner, clearing the one leg up 3-4 days faster than the leg with the Eczema Relief.

Second test: Eczema Relief against Hydrocortisone (2.5% I believe). On days 2-3 the hydrocortisone had a slight lead with the Hydrocortisone leg looking a bit more healed, but by the end of a week the two creams were tied, both legs having cleared up roughly equal amounts (based on my very unscientific method of observation and photos).

Summary: For most needs I now use BRC's Eczema Relief on my son and have recommended it to many others. With nightly use we can keep his eczema in control quite well. When allergies are extra high and his skin is beyond manageable, we use the prescription creams with a wet wrap overnight for a few nights in a row as recommended by his allergy doctor, then return to this cream.

We happened upon this when visiting Sante Fe and bought a stick on sale. My 4 yr old has really terrible allergy-related eczema and has a couple prescription creams plus a boat load of natural and less-natural products we've tried. Since we bought this we have been using it on his face almost exclusively, and alternating the other areas of his body between this and the really strong steroid-type creams. His face looks the best when we use this cream. I THINK the other parts of his body also do better when we use this, but because he's often to the point of having open wounds we're usually so worried we smear on what the doctor ordered. I may try to do a side-by-side experiment (e.g. one leg this, one leg the prescription) and report back on the results.

Full transparency: I don't have eczema nor does the hubbs. I got this stick for what my hubbs calls "fat man rub" where we go hiking, he sweats and his thighs rub. I got him this stick for his "fat man rub" and it worked. We went on a hike this evening and he said he had no chafing and he normally would. He' digs it.
